Martin, an award winning photographic artist, has always been an avid photographer, but it was his wife's uncle Albert (he photographed their wedding) who got him interested in the business side of photography.  Albert always said "it was a wonderful thing to be able to do something you love and get paid for it".  Martin couldn't agree with him more.  Martin has been a professional photographic artist for over 20 years, and still loves seeing the wonderful expression on a clients face when they see the images he has taken for them.  He also likes the fact that photography never gets stale or boring.  He keeps up-to date by continuing his education in photography and mastering new techniques and technology.

He has taken classes and seminars with some of the worlds greatest photographers; such as Hanson Fong, Rick & Debra Ferro, Michele Celentano,  Carl Caylor, Doug Gordon, Jeff & Kathleen Hawkins, Sandy Puc, Denis Reggie, Bambi Cantrell, Joe Buissink, Clay Blackmore, Ken Sklute, Eddie Tapp, Martin Schembri, Curt Littlecott, Al Gordon, and Suzette Allen.  He has also studied the work of Monte Zucker, Philippe Halsman, and Richard Avedon, to name a few. He also attends  PPA, and PPANJ workshops held throughout the year, as well as the yearly, week long course at  the Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Photography held in Cape May, NJ.

Martin is an active member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Professional Photographers Association of NJ (PPANJ) of which he  is the immediate Past President of the Central Region.   He is also a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).  Martin has also won numerous awards and ribbons for his work.

Personally,  Martin is married and has two children.  He knows the meaning of family and how important those photographic memories are.  That's why he loves creating those memories for others, and why he goes the extra mile to insure his clients are more than satisfied with his work.  He understands that his work will be a families treasured heirloom for generations to come.

Martin always arrive at each shoot with a smile on his face and a warm sense of humor.  As a husband and father he knows how special life's memories are, and is always honored when selected to preserve those memories for you.

Martin shoots just about every wedding with a female photographer as a second shooter.  And just about every one of those weddings he     chooses to shoot with Terry Geerdts.   Terry is an outstanding photographer and has won many awards for her work.  She has a great eye for capturing a wedding as it should be captured.   Together, they make an outstanding team. That is why Martin considers Terry , not just as a second shooter, but rather as a partner in helping him produce the best wedding day images possible.

In a recent blog, Terry wrote this about shooting weddings with Martin.

"Most of the weddings I do are with Marty Tremarco. I must say its a pleasure working with him. We get along so well and we work well together, each bringing something to every job we do. I work with the brides during the getting ready period. I love shooting details such as the dress and shoes and flowers…so I get to play and have fun and get creative. I enjoy watching the bride get ready… and its rewarding to play such an important role in creating memories for her. Then for the rest of the day we work as a team. With other photographers I might just have to take the back seat and not get to use my talents but with Marty we work together and if I have ideas I am free to take the lead role. It lets me enjoy my work so much…its great. When I worked yesterday I felt great. I was free to express my creativity and do what I truly love to do. So thanks Marty for making a job fun and rewarding… I am pleased to be able to say I love what i do for a living!"

Not only is Terry a terrific wedding photographer, but she is also an outstanding maternity, newborn, and children's photographer.

Terry also keeps up to date on her craft by attending classes and workshops.  She is an active member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Professional Photographers Association of NJ (PPANJ) of which she  is the Treasurer of the Central Region.
